I watch and teach my puppy manners daily…
No jumping allowed on to me or others.
I teach this by making sure all 4 feet are on the ground when excited, greeting me or others, and when petting and or praising my pup. I do not do things to excite her on purpose and make her forget the proper etiquette.
Plus for me to pet her I want her in a sit. She is checking herself now and will sit for me as if to say” I am a good dog pet me please”! Of course my puppy gets lots of love and petting and special time one on one just the two of us! This is very important in my opinion!
We had presents tonight and my pup sat and waited her turn, thing is she understands every dog has its turn and to jump in line only slows down the process!
I say walk with me and she does. I call her to me often and praise her highly for coming as asked!
And still my puppy has no name!
