With pups you hit a phase where all seems fine and not much to talk about…
Well now… KAT has out growing that stage…
We are working again on not biting me…I tell her no and patiently without emotion roll her lip in on her teeth…As all ways it works she just needs to be reminded that biting hurts…This is a typical mouthy stage all pups go thru, but improperly handled can become a problem latter in the pups development.
She is learning to sit and stay! Getting fairly good…Again I am patient and consistent. She cannot get up till I say so. We practice in all places. with the other dogs, without them. In the pasture with sheep and anywhere I see a good opportunity.
She kennels up well and minds me fairly well.
KAT wants to work sheep badly…And we will be starting the basics soon. (course everything we do now is leading up to sheep work)
Every evening we spend one on one quality time together!
