Sit! Stay!
Puppies have a short attention span! One must know this and take your time and do not get upset with a pup (or grown dog either)
I have been working on sit at the gate and wait till I tell her to come thru. This is a lesson in calmness for ME too! KAT is ready and on her way!
But I calmly have her sit then time my come thru so that she understands she has to wait.
Things are getting better. She sits pretty good for 5 months!
She stays not so good (YET) 😉
She will…with time and work and consistency!
