Gritty on the stock. Not mean but has the ability to stay with the job…(even if I have shown her poorly what the job is) and she will get the job done…
She is not put off by my yelling at the stock or the gate etc…But will stop when I say “that will do”…She wants to work but for me not for her!
This dog will require work and teaching. But she learns and want to learn! and KAT wants to Please! Biddable! Smart!
There will be no “oh just let it go” moments with this pup.
She is fearless with the stock. Does not care if the ewe is 300 pounds or 30! If KAT has the idea she will try and do the job.
I am starting her in the small holding pens with the sheep. I know she is only 19 weeks old…But she wants to work. She is not afraid to get in and go in between the fence and the stock. I will be careful and go slow…
