We go daily to the sheep pens and the field. Also daily to turn the chickens out and to put the chickens up.

I all ways have a close eye on her.

I am allowing my puppy to learn many things on her own with supervision (but no management) I am still not saying anything to her. Unless I encourage her for doing good.

Tomorrow I start to Mark Behavior I like ! Here is a link to Pat Taylor’s article http://www.herdingtraining.info/marking-behavior-101.html

This is new to me in some ways and I have never done thisĀ  (this way) . But I think it is a good idea…will see if it makes a difference in our herding work latter!

I will be marking behavior I desire by saying “Yes” this will be done out in the field with the sheep and my timing will need to be good (If it is not I will not mark the behavior) .
