John Blankenship English Shepherds, submitted by Mark Winstead

English Shepherds have been around for quite some time, but historical documentation can be difficult to come by.  The breed itself is more rare than others, so reading historical documents, advertisements, stories and old standards is a way we can educate ourselves about English Shepherds — their appearance, abilities, intelligence and characteristics.

We are always looking for ES history.  If you have historical data, stories or photos you would like to share, please submit them to editor@eshepherd.com.   Every piece is an ES treasure.
